From ÇİMSA a New Nursery Class to Hüsniye Elemantary School
Çimsa, within the scope of its project of adding a nursery class to a village school each year, renewed the nursery class of Hüsniye Elementary School. New nursery class was opened for education on 16 November 2013.
Çimsa, within the scope of social responsibility activities in Niğde, added a new nursery class to a village school this year as well. With the contributions of Çimsa Niğde Plant, the nursery class of Hüsniye Elementary School in Ulukışla town of Niğde was completely renewed.
Opening of the renewed nursery class was held on 16 November, Saturday with participation of Çimsa Niğde Plant Manager Caner TÜRKYENER and also Niğde Governor Necmeddin KILIÇ, Provincial Police Chief Ali Doğan ULUDAĞ, Provincial Executive Secretary Mustafa SIZIR and Provincial Director of National Education Celalettin EKİNCİ.
Çimsa Niğde Plant Manager Mr. Caner TÜRKYENER: Since 2010, as Çimsa, we have added 5 nursery schools to 4 village schools in total within the scope of our project of adding nursery classes to village schools.
Giving speech in the opening ceremony, Çimsa Niğde Plant Manager Mr. Caner TÜRKYENER said: “since 2010, as Niğde Çimsa Plant, we have been acting with the awareness of importance of preschool education. Taking into consideration that preschool education has significant effects on our children's school lives, we contribute in building a nursery class in a village school in Niğde every year. What makes us happy is the fact that this work is carried out voluntarily by joint initiatives and efforts of all our employees, customers and business partners in addition to the company sources."
Modernization of Hüsniye Elementary School's nursery class was carried out within the scope of the renewal project. In addition to renewal of the toilets which were in poor condition, classroom floors were covered with laminate parquet. Illumination fixtures of classrooms and corridors were renewed. Windows and doors were replaced by PVC frames. Classrooms and corridors were painted. School building's roof was renewed; in addition to the renewals made in the school consisting of 14 students, furnishings were bought for nursery class students. Shoe and stationery requirements of students were also met.
