The Ankara Lalahan Cement Grinding and Packaging Facility's foundation was laid in January 2001 and it was commissioned in July 2002. The factory was acquired by Çimsa, together with the Eskişehir cement factory in 2005. The Ankara factory does not have a rotary kiln. Therefore, clinker supplied from Kayseri or Eskişehir is grinded and turned into cement and sold this way.

The Ankara Cement Grinding and Packaging Facility has 1 cement mill with a capacity of 85 tons/hour, as well as 1 raw material breaker, 2 cement silos and a packaging unit.

The Eskişehir Cement Factory was commissioned in 1957 and was equipped with a wet kiln that had a diameter of 3,6 m and a length of 125 m and had a capacity of 150.000 tons/day. The factory conducted its production operations until 1987. Its 1st line was commissioned in 1976,it was a dry process kiln line with a 3 stages suspension pre-heater and a rotary kiln that had diameter of 3,6 m and a length of 52 m. The capacity of the line was 275.000 tons/year. total capacity was increased to 425.000 tons/year.

The Eskişehir Factory was transferred to Çimsa Çimento Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş by TMSF on December 27, 2005. After the factory was acquired by Çimsa, the following developments were achieved in May 2007: on the 1st production line a dynamic separator was added to the raw mill, the current clinker cooler was replaced, the kiln burning and fuel dosage systems were renewed, and new electro-filter units were added to the kiln line. As a result of these developments, a 600.000 ton clinker production capacity was reached per year and a new closed circuit cement mill was commissioned with a capacity of 85 tons/hour.

In September 2007, a completely new coal vertical mill workshop which could serve both production lines and which had a capacity of 40 tons/hour, was commissioned. The old coal grinding mills systems were decommissioned.

In January 2008, a completely new 2nd production line, whose structure was similar to that of the current Kayseri factory, with a capacity of 790.000tons/year was commissioned. Total production capacity increased to 1.390.000 tons/year.

The Eskişehir Cement Factory became a modern production facility following the installation of a raw material crusher and a raw material pre-homogenization system, which were installed together with the 2nd production line in January 2008, as well as cement silos which were installed in 2009. The factory also has 3 ball cement mills, which are used for production of the final product.

The Çimsa Kayseri Factory was established by Akçimento (a Sabancı Holding company) in 1992, with a 1,6 million ton cement grinding and packaging capacity per year. The factory was acquired by Çimsa in 1995. A pre-grinding roller press system was installed on the cement mill in 2005 for the purpose of improving cement grinding capacity and reducing energy consumption. The foundation of the clinker production line was laid on October 9, 2004 in order to make the current facility an integrated cement factory. The first clinker production operation was performed on December 26, 2005, following the completion of installation and commissioning works. Equipped with state of the art technologies, the facility's main unit consists of an ILC type low NOx emission pre-calcination system, a five stages cyclones pre-heater and a rotary kiln that has a length of 55 m and a diameter of 3,60 m. The clinker production capacity of the facility is 2.175 tons/day. The facility also has 1 raw material breaker, pre-homogenization facilities for clay and limestone, 1 coal ball mill, 1 vertical raw mill and 2 cement ball mills.

The facility started its production operations in 1975 and consists of a rotary kiln, which has a diameter of 5,25 m and a length of 83 m, with a four stages cyclones preheater. The facility was modernized in 1983, with the addition of coal grinding and burning systems, in order to provide savings in fuel costs. The facility has two crushers, one pre-homogenization facility, two ball mills for raw materials, two raw meal silos and two closed clinker stock halls.

In the first quarter of 2010, the facility was modernized and the current planet type clinker cooling system was replaced and an FLS SF-Cooler type grate cooler system was installed. With this investment, the production capacity reached approximately 4.000 tons/day, in contrast to the 3.400 tons/day capacity it had before the investment. In addition, the clinker capacity has been increased and the heat consumption required for clinker production has been reduced.

The 2nd facility rotary kiln was commissioned in December 1989. This kiln is capable of producing both grey and white clinker. Its diameter is 3.6 m and its length is 49 m. The facility consists of crushers, a raw material vertical mill with pre-homogenization systems, a coal vertical mill, two raw meal silos, the kiln and a clinker stokehold.

This facility is capable of producing both grey and white clinker according to the demand. The facility's grey clinker production capacity is 1.845 tons/day and its white clinker production capacity is 1.470 tons/day.

The Hacı Sabancı White Cement production facility started its production operations in December 1999. It has a rotary kiln with a diameter of 3,75 m and a length of 57 m and has a production capacity of 1.750 tons/day. The facility has a raw material mill with crusher and pre-homogenization systems, a coal vertical mill, a raw meal silo, the kiln and a closed clinker stock hall.

The Mersin factory also has a total of 4 cement mills (3 of them are with ball millsand 1 of them is vertical mill)

Cement Production Facility with Calcium Aluminate

This facility has two kilns whose clinker production capacity is 2 tons/hour, a cement mill whose grinding capacity is 5 tons/hour, and a packaging unit. The facility was commissioned in 2002. A second oven was commissioned in 2007, whose clinker production capacity is 2 tons/hour. As a result, the production capacity of the facility has improved. In addition, thanks to the packaging unit installed in 2009, products are able to be offered to customers in 25 kg packages, in pallets and in large bags of 1,5 tons.

The Niğde Cement Factory was established in 1957 and it started production in 1964 after the completion of the production line. The production line a wet process kiln had a capacity of 85.000 tons/year. Total production capacity of the factory increased to 350.000 tons/year after the commissioning of a 2nd dry process system production line on September 2, 1976. In the following years, the wet system clinker line was decommissioned as it had completed its economic and technological life. The production was carried out using the dry system rotary kiln.

After the factory was privatized, the cyclone was replaced at the rotary kiln unit in 1993, transition modernization was performed, and the cooling and burning system, the exhaust gas fan and the electro-filter were replaced. As a result, the kiln capacity increased to 1.150 tons/day from its previous capacity of 850 tons/day.

Pursuant to the resolution of the Competition Authority dated November 1, 2007 regarding the termination of the 'Sabancı and Oyak' partnership, the Oysa Niğde Cement Factory was renamed as Çimsa Çimento San. Ve Tic. A.Ş. Niğde Cement Factory and has conducted its production operations under this name.

After it was acquired by Çimsa, there were several enhancements with regard to production and energy recovery at the Niğde cement factory. Today, clinker production capacity of the factory is 1190 tons/day. In addition to the rotary kiln, which has a 4 stages cyclones pre heater and grate cooler, and a diameter of 3,8 m and a length of 52 m, the factory has a single production line. The factory also has 1 hammer crusher, 1 ball raw mill, an vertical coal mill and a cement mill with 1 roller press pre-grinding system.
